I’ve been doing the bulk of my grocery shopping there for the last 5 years and it is a large part of my love for Villeray. And its run by the sweetest Lebanese family. All I have to do is ask and they’ll carry whatever I want – 2% cottage cheese, swiss chard, organic eggs….

And I was just driving down Villeray today when I saw the newly renovated Miss Villeray Lounge. I’ve been in love with that place for as long as I’ve lived in the ‘hood and have always longed for someone to restore it to its former glory…. Can’t wait to go and have a beer for the first time!
