Tigers do not have a 21st chromosome. It is possible that a tiger can have a triple chromosome on the tiger version of the 21st chromosome, resulting in something similar to Ds. However, there is no indication or proof that the tiger in this photo has an extra chromosome on any of it’s chromosomes.

If a tiger had something similar to Down Syndrome, would it look like this tiger? This tiger does look a little odd, one must admit. Perhaps he just had a bad day.

This is not a tiger, but a liger (mix between tiger and lion that is not natural) Many of these animals are born with deformations and other developmental problems, so It is probably not ds, but a combination of things.
